A client in the coal generation industry contracted with us to create a stainless steel tank that would be used for a filter/separator application. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this 6′ tall tank required us to perform a multi-step process that included precision plasma cutting, punching, rolling, and forming before welding the tank together. When complete, the tank weighed 2,500 lbs. and had an 8′ diameter.
