CUSTOM FABRICATED STAINLESS STEEL PREFILTER FOR THE WASTEWATER INDUSTRY
A client in the wastewater industry was in need of a stainless steel prefilter and came to Harmony Metal Fabrication to manufacture this component. To produce this prefilter, we began with a customer-supplied 3D CAD drawing which gave us the dimensions for the prefilter. Using 304 stainless steel, we used plasma cutting and metal forming technology along with CNC punching, rolling, and MIG and TIG welding to assemble the unit. The finished dimensions measured 24″ by 24″ and the material was 3/16″ thick, weighing 35 lbs., with a glass bead finish. Our turnaround time for this project was two weeks and we worked to tolerances of ±1/16″ throughout the fabrication processes.
